We had an excellent season this year. It was a long one, starting early February and ending in early April. The syrup from this season is of a superior quality and we exceeded a 100% crop. In the middle of the season, we welcomed our first grandchlild, Caleb Andrew Edward Matheson - 7lbs 10oz.
Some exciting news, new research that the maple industry has conducted, has shown that maple syrup is more nutritious than previously thought. We are very excited with this new information!

Robinson Maple Products are the proud winners of the Huron Manufacturing Association's Corporate Citizen Award. Below is the announcement:
"Robinson Maple Products is a family-owned and operated business in St. Augustine in Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh. One of the largest maple syrup makers in Ontario, they manufacture certified organic maple syrup as well as a number of unique value-added products such maple mustard and maple dip. Robinson Maple Products was chosen for this award for their enormous contributions to their industry, the HMA and their community. Bill has served on the Ontario Maple Syrup Producers since 1968 and he has represented Ontario at the North American Maple Syrup Council for over 25 years. Bill and Susanne never seem to turn down a request for tours of their operation. In addition to frequent visits from school groups, cubs and church groups they have hosted tours for the HMA’s Industrial Tours Program, as well as groups of agriculture students from as far away as Indonesia, Japan, France and Romania. The Company also generously donates maple syrup and maple syrup products to local fundraisers and community events."
