Community Involvement

At Robinsons Maple Products we love to be involved in our local community! From sugar bush tours to sponsoring local athletes, we love to give back. We wouldn't be who we are today without the support of our local community. On this page, you'll find what we've been involved in and special things we like to support.

This year Robinson's Maple Products is the performance sponsor of a show at the Blyth Theatre on August 14th! The play is called Onion Skins & Peach Fuzz: The Farmerettes. The play showcases women in agriculture which could not be happier about.

A new and very exciting partnership we have is with our hometown Olympian athlete,  Julie-Anne Staehli. Robinson’s Maple Products and Julie-Anne share a commitment to excellence and a passion for hard work. We are both dedicated to encouraging balanced and healthy lifestyles. That is what makes this sponsorship a winning combination.

Robinson’s Maple Products has been a proud long-time sponsor of the Auburn & District Lions Club. Not only do we donate maple syrup to the pancake breakfasts, but you will most likely see Bill and Susanne helping out behind the scenes.

At Robinson’s Maple Products, it is very important to us to promote healthy lifestyles and support the local community.  That is why we were happy to sponsor 3 local hockey teams! The 3 on 3 program runs out of Goderich and has teams for kids 7 and up. If you look closely you will probably see Kevin behind the bench and Catherine in the stands cheering on the kids.

Another event that is important to Robinson Maple Products is The Night Thing and The Bad Thing trail races put on by Race Huron. We donate maple syrup to all the winners of The Bad Thing and Catherine has become a dedicated volunteer - getting up early to help things go smoothly.

Educating kids is another passion of Robinson’s Maple Products. We hold sugar camp tours, open houses and host public school field trips. It is always a fun day and the kids are always excited to find out how maple syrup is made. The kids and adults also love sampling maple syrup!

A nonprofit that Robinson's Maple Products and the Robinson Family hold near and dear to their heart is The Huron Hospice. Robinson family members are on hospice committees and make regular donations. The larger Robinson family participates in the annual June Robinson Memorial Hike for Hospice which has been renamed after Bill's mother who was an avid supporter of the hike.

Robinson's Maple Products also has a long history of supporting many local non-profit organizations and schools. Robinson's has a great fundraising program to help schools raise funds.  They also contribute by donating maple syrup to fundraising auctions and pancake breakfasts.

Lastly, we love to let the local community know about all things maple syrup. We enjoy giving interviews to local news stations, podcasts, and members of the community. We want everyone to know what goes into a product they love.  Below are a couple of segments featuring Robinson's Maple Products.
